When I attempt to login to youtube through the tool box I get the following error: The username/password that you entered was not accepted by youtube. Please try again.
I'm able to login to youtube just fine with safari, firefox, chrome or explorer so its not a browser or connectivity issue. I've experienced this before but in the past this issue just resolved itself. This time, however, the problem will not go away.
Any ideas?

It looks like you haven't tried Opera and several other browers listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_browsers get on it! just kidding. ugg... Lots of people seem to be getting this all of a sudden. I am thinking that it's related to the fact that Google/YouTube are rolling out a new Log-In page: http://techlaze.com/2011/08/gmail-new-login-page/Have any of you who are having this problem, clicked to use the new Login Page that you know of? This is what the new LogIn Page Looks like: http://techlaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/gloginpage2.pngThis is what the old Log In Page looks like: http://techlaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/gloginpage1.png

That's a really cute reply but it doesn't solve my problem. Namely, that I am unable to login through the toolbox interface. As for the new Google/YouTube login page. So what? As I stated previously, I am able to sign in to youtube through my browser but not through the toolbox.
So if as you say others are having this same issue then what is the solution?

The solution is - we are working on it. When Google/YouTube makes a change, it takes time for us to research it, test it, fix it and get it released. That is how our software works. We have put out a special copy of Tube Toolbox that we think fixes the issue but we need some people to test it out before we release it to everyone. If you or anyone else is interested, please look here: http://www.tubetoolbox.com/betaprogram.aspx

I rarely login to Youtube via TTB. Is there any reason why i should?

This thread is about people who log into Tube Toolbox and can't get past the main log-in screen.
I just put out a new version, should be fixed.

I have five accounts. Four of the five are working just fine logging in via TTB. As the others are experiencing I can log into the fifth account through my internet Explorer and I am only having trouble logging in via TTB on this one account only. This problem was preceeded by having TTB for this account shut down due to five consecutive failures (or something like that) if this is any help in solving the issue.
In the meantime I will just try to be patient. When the problem is solved maybe a mass notice can go out so we don't keep trying.
Thanks for your efforts!

Okay, good. Sometimes for whatever reason, you just need to retry a few times.
Also, recently if you log in from a location that isn't the usual place that you log in from, Google will ask you to verify yourself by entering your cell phone number or something like that. In those cases, you need to log into YouTube using a regular Internet Browser (IE/FireFox/Chrome) and validate your account, then come back to Tube Toolbox and log in.
In general, if the log-in fails, it's a good idea to quickly try to log into YouTube using a regular browser just to make sure there are not special messages from Google.
