Hey Gang - over the last 6 years our forum has become cluttered with outdated information and spammy posts.
We want to make it easier for you to find the information you are looking for.
As a result, we are migrating to new Forum software soon with one big clean out of posts that are no longer useful.
The new forum will look completely different so don't be shocked when it's launched :)

I received the following question from Alexander:

As of today I am having trouble gathering more than 3 or so pages of user ID's (+/- 1200 IDs) from the comments of videos, even if a video has 10,000+ comments. This appears to be a recurring bug that was also present several months ago (but was fixed). It might be recurring due to changes on the youtube website. I'm using IE8, the youtube website is set to Worldwide/English. An example video where the bug is present: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCXiczrRUSg.

Here was my response:
There seems to be an issue with YouTube. I logged onto YouTube natively (www.youtube.com) and entered the URL you listed. I clicked on “View all 7,808 comments” and the first page was listed. I hit “next” and the second page listed okay. When I clicked “next” to get the third page, no comments were listed. I clicked on other pages (4,5,6) and again no comments were displayed. Obviously, we can’t gather names if they are not listed.

A couple of other comments that I didn't send Alexander.
1. We depend on all of you to help us spot issues based on YouTube changes. As has been mentioned previously in the forum, our software is built based on YouTube's functionality. If they change functionality it can break our code. When you see things please let us know.
2. Alexander did a great job notifying us & providing us with enough information to troubleshoot the issue.
3. You can review this post to see what kind of information is helpful - http://www.tubetoolbox.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=79
