I've been getting some warnings about upgrading IE 7 in Tube Toolbox. Is that the browser engine it uses?
I don't even use Internet Explorer - just FF and Chrome, mainly. Is there a way for TT to use chrome instead?
It also seems quite slow, and I wonder if that is for IE.

Yes, Tube Toolbox uses IE. We hate IE also but it was the only option when we were building the program. So, you will need to upgrade to IE9 in order to get rid of that message. I NEVER use IE for anything except inside Tube Toolbox. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/products/ie/home/

My TT box uses WinXP, which apparently can't upgrade to IE 9. Any chance there could be support for using IE 8?

I believe IE 8 will work without an issue.

Please send a screenshot with the error you are receiving to support@tubetoolbox.com and reference this forum post.
