Hey Gang - over the last 6 years our forum has become cluttered with outdated information and spammy posts.
We want to make it easier for you to find the information you are looking for.
As a result, we are migrating to new Forum software soon with one big clean out of posts that are no longer useful.
The new forum will look completely different so don't be shocked when it's launched :)

I had a comment from someone recently that spamming people is against youtube community guidelines.

What do you know about this? What are the rules exactly? What would constitute as spam?

I also REALLY need to know how to make "absolutely sure" that certain people never receive any contact from me again. I need to make sure that they will be excluded from all future gathers, messages, invites, etc, everything.

Please let me know how to do this and what the community guidelines are in regards to spam, thank you.

Here is a post that addresses your question
http://tubetoolbox.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=341

In addition, the following is contained in our FAQs:

Q. Can my YouTube™ account get suspended for using Tube Toolbox?
A. NO. In fact, YouTube™ specifically addresses automated software (like Tube Toolbox) in section 4.G of their Terms of Use (quoted below).

"You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," that accesses the Website in a manner that sends more request messages to the YouTube™ servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser."

Tube Toolbox has a Send Delay option which allows you to put a timed delay between each Message, Comment and Friend Request sent. This will ensure that you do not break their Terms of Use.

ok that all sounds fine, but what about sending messages to the same people repetitively? Is that not classed as another rule? A rule to stop people being spammed?
