Nice one TubeShare, looking forward to seeing the results.
I wonder if account chaining is the problem. If so it SHOULD be okay to share with a single non-main YT account (made on separate computer) right? I just think I'd rather share super slow than not share at all ever. But ama wait for TubeShares results before I try anything o.o

Best to just ask TTB admin and their company to determine what may or may not work.

What is anyone's opinion about someone starting up a new chnl while under "suspension" and just using it like a regular Joe?

Good question. Well, on my channel that got suspended, I never showed my face, it was just a Call of Duty clips channel. After almost 3 weeks of suspension, they still haven't suspended my vlog channel even though both channels were/are under the same name and DOB. Then again, it might be because my vlog channel had already been created long before, and I didn't create the vlog channel AFTER the other account got suspended.(If that would make a difference or not, I don't know but just a possible cause lol)

Can we get a certain answer from TTB staff on starting up new channels/having other channels after one channel gets suspended?

Just wondering if anyone who was just adding contacts had their channels banned by youtube? I have two channels and switch back and forth between them every 4 days. I only add contacts from both. I am really concerned about using tubetoolbox now as I would not want my channels banned. Were the only channels that were banned those that were video sharing, messaging, and so forth using drones? I have not done any of that. Just added contacts. My two channels are linked. Thank you to anyone who can help me with this concern and I truly hope all of you that lost your channels will get them back soon. I am sure tubetoolbox is doing everything possible to help you and it just takes time to deal with youtube. I am hoping you all hear good news soon. :)

I believe the error was for video shares. I am not aware of anyone who lost their account for adding contacts. Out of curiosity, do you find adding contacts useful for promotion? I never really saw much of an impact other than the occasional message from someone asking why I added them.

Thank you DualReality. I appreciate your reply. I am quite a newbie with tubetoolbox but have seen video views, subs, and inbox messages increase quite a bit. Probably not as much as those who used the drones and so forth. Our channels were more or less just sitting there for awhile until I began adding contacts. We have had some messages asking why we added them as well but have had a lot more traffic coming to the channels so for me it has been worth using tubetoolbox. I just don't want to have the channels banned by youtube so lately I have just turned it off. Also, I noticed a strange message lately when switching channels and logging into youtube with ttb. It stated that I had logged into the account under the wrong name and that I should check it. Not sure why that was happening.

Hey TTB People!

Quick upd8-

I have decided NOT to start up any new chnl's while I am under "suspension" after looking into the matter a little more. I have a few good chnl's ready 2 go - but I am keeping them "invisible" and not using them until I feel more confident that its worth my time & efforts! I think it may be more wise to wait until we get some kind of solid information from TTB about their present status with YT - therefore our status with YT. It also appears to me that YT is ignoring TTB and that is just not a good sign, in my humble opinion. I am completely hopeful that this will change any day now, but that is how I see it right now.

Unfortunately, I can't answer that question- I was using "share video w/message" and "account chaining" when they suspended ALL of my active chnl's. I think you should absolutely be very concerned about using TTB right now in any capacity until we are told some positive news! TTB has still not told us if it was only those who were using "account chaining" and "share a video" or "what" that were terminated and suspended. This is information that they have by now and REALLY should make available to us so that we can ALL act appropriately with our accounts!

Day 3, all is okay since last update.

If you read my last update before I cleared them, you'd noted what I said about 'comments'.

To recap:

1. For those of you sharing video with a message, there are ways so far to keep your accounts safe.

2. Watch out when you reply to too many comments on your video or videos or comment on others' videos in a day - this may be totally unrelated to TTB and simply a feature of YT which I think makes sense to detect spam but I think may had caused some accounts to be suspended in error! This had happened to me and other non TTB users, we wrote to YT and told them that their 'commenting' limit was wrong and got our accounts reinstated! I have heard from people who do not use TTB and simply comment a lot got their accounts suspended! Remember what I said about those 'turing image' code verification issue warning signs

3. You may ask how many replies to comments or commenting on other people's videos is too much for a day? I've experienced that from anywhere between 50 to 80 per day. And I am not talking about using TTB to comment, this seems to be a limit for legitimate comments you made by manually replying to your own video comments from your fans or other people's videos or channel comments! The thing is, make sure you STOP commenting soon after that YT 'turing image' code verification thing comes up!

To verify this theory, can you or anyone else confirm that your accounts had been suspended after you have manually replied to comments or commented on other people's videos, channels either manually or by using TTB or combinations there of that exceeded 100 comments in a 24 hours period?

TOOLBOX UPDATE....
"June 19th
We still have not received any response from YouTube. As mentioned above, in our communications with YouTube, we have asked them for guidance regarding restrictions other than those listed in their Terms of Service. We think they are discussing this internally before responding. We believe they want to be careful about how they respond and it may take a while for them to figure out their exact response. Therefore, we will wait a week before we try to escalate the request to give them time to discuss internally. If we do not hear something this week, we will attempt to escalate further."

SO.....has all communication about getting suspended channels reinstated ceased???
Is that out the window??
If it is...then let us know....please

And....why do you "think they are discussing this internally before responding" as opposed to just not replying or communicating?

I was NOT commenting or responding to comments on any of my videos when they suspended my chnl's. I know that doesn't help your theory, sorry bout that! I wish I had been commenting and we could have just one more piece of this confusing puzzle!

That is an effing GR8 point "monkey"!

Why has TTB completely stopped communicating with YT about getting those of us who have lost our main channel(s) reinstated?

I am starting to see that TTB is again pointing their fingers back @ YT and that is also NOT A GOOD SIGN for us little users who just want our channels back! It appears that TTB wants us to believe that we are just a part of an even "larger group" who all lost their channels on YT for "yet unknown reasons"! That is the ultimate line of BS, if you asked me ...

Personally, I think that TTB is just too frightened of YT to bring it up right now while their whole operation is in danger of being "terminated" by YT!

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY MESSAGE to Tube Toolbox MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF FROM YOUR PAYING CLIENTS!

PLEASE, CAN YOU AT LEAST TELL US WHETHER OR NOT WE CAN START A NEW CHNL WHILE WE ARE STILL UNDER "SUSPENSION" FROM USING YOUR SOFTWARE?!

YOU WON'T ANSWER OR ADDRESS ANY OF OUR OTHER QUESTIONS or CONCERNS, SO HOW ABOUT THIS SIMPLE QUESTION THAT MANY OF US HAVE RIGHT NOW!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE! (LoL)

We have new customers signing up every day and using TTB without issues. Additionally, it seems like there were around 30-40 accounts that were impacted out of the hundreds of accounts we have.
The issue with the customers whose accounts were suspended is that a few of them have had their new channels suspended after they were setup. We don't know wy.

If you have the ability to use a different IP address we "think" that may help keep you from being suspended again but we are not sure. Not sure what else to tell you.

In all of our communication with YouTube we have expressed our desire to get all our customers reinstated. We have offered to give them lists of channels (for those of you who gave us permission to use your name). We have never stated that our customers are part of a "larger group". Our message to YouTube is two-fold - #1 = help us get our customers reinstated, #2 = give us guidance as to what we can do to insure using TTB does not get customers banned. We have proved to YouTube that we follow their terms of service. We are asking them if there are other restrictions that we can incorporate into our product to make it safe.

Toolman,

What if, as an extra show of good faith to youtube, you started taking more proactive measures to make sure only good 'spam' gets onto your network? For instance, whenever TTB loads up and does sends, it does a quick sync/scan of the videos to be shared, and the host channel, then it checks for bad spam keywords like affiliate links, get rich, diets, stuff like that. When a channel hits certain keywords, it goes to human review at TTB for a pass or fail. Pass would mean its good until channel/video info changes, and fail means banned from TTB and reported to youtube.

I think most of us here are good 'spammers' - we have real content we want to share, and we look to enrich the network and ourselves. If you put your best foot forward and showed you were working towards youtube's best interests as well, to me that seems like you might increase your chances of an alliance. After all, you don't have to be one of the good guys. You could just as easily run a scammy bot service from an offshore server, and pollute youtube with all sorts of crap just to line your pockets.

I feel being a proactive good guy, someone they want on their side, would be a bargaining chip. Yes No? What do you think?

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately I am under the impression that TTB is on the most part, giving up about getting the suspended accounts back. I don't want to get into a massive rant about my expectations from TTB but in short, they are not being met. I've requested a refund.

If this whole thing gets sorted out then I may start using the service again.

I'll keep browsing these forums to see how its going.

All the best,

DR

Like i said a few days ago DualReality :)

TTB makers enjoyed the dough and now they are going on to other ventures. If this is the best that a company can offer you for support its real sad. The fact that we have random TTB users submitting more data in this thread than the makers is also sad.

June 12th
Communicated with YouTube yesterday, they requested some information which we sent. If we do not hear back tomorrow, we will contact them again on Thursday. They did not give any indication of how cooperative they are going to be but we are hoping for some guidance on requirements beyond their Terms of Service (which we follow).

June 14th
We have not received any response from YouTube, therefore, we sent another email today asking for a response. Hopefully, we will receive something tomorrow or Monday.

June 19th
We still have not received any response from YouTube. As mentioned above, in our communications with YouTube, we have asked them for guidance regarding restrictions other than those listed in their Terms of Service. We think they are discussing this internally before responding. We believe they want to be careful about how they respond and it may take a while for them to figure out their exact response. Therefore, we will wait a week before we try to escalate the request to give them time to discuss internally. If we do not hear something this week, we will attempt to escalate further.

Between June 14th and June 19th this is really all TTB can do? If i was them I'd accept that YT obviously didnt care about the suspended accounts very much and create some sort of refund package for people who were affected. I'd datamine the hell out of my program and then figure out how to fix it and ensure the trust of my users again. TTB is doomed to implode at this rate. Give it a few more weeks and it'll all be over my friends!

I unsubscribed a week or two ago and am now just reading the pathetic attempts of TTB admins to fix a problem that they really dont want to.

*END RANT *

PEACE & LOVE AROUND THE WORLD!
