31 May 2012, i had tube toolbox setup at night then i went to sleep, i woke up to find out that my accounts are closed

2
add contacts
send private messeges
unsubcribe
share video
post on channels

3
i had around 270 videos and nearly a million in total views

4
yes i used multiple accounts, but as you stated thats allowed and it followed YouTubes TOS and your TOS

5
yes include me in the request please, these are the accounts that got suspended:
http://www.youtube.com/dareheaven2
http://www.youtube.com/dareheaven3
http://www.youtube.com/dareheaven0
http://www.youtube.com/dareheaven

i still aint gotten it back yet, tube toolbox admin is keeping me hope, and i still have hope as people on youtube say they got their accounts reinstated so its possible, i reacon as long as we manage to contact youtube (which in my opinion is redicilous not being able to), we should be able to get it back, i mean tube toolbox doesnt AIM to break the TOS, it aims to make the most of what is allowed, just keeping peoples lives in tact instead of 24 7 promoting manually, 2012 has been the worst year of my life, for many personal reasons, breakup, hdd data loss, media loss, hardware breaking, and now youtube, my main source of getting myself known, sure i have people that know me personally because of it now, but its much more then that, i had around 300 videos on it that now i have lost (well i have them stored on my pc but i have around 50k vids on my pc fuck knows which are the best), i have information on the vids, fans, around 1k subs, i need it back, i need it back so much, i have so much more content that i wanna share, but i shant make another main account, i wont give up

oh btw main account is, dareheaven2
others are drones but they are important to me too

and nope i still aint gotten my accounts back

That's great that you are supporting your users by contacting YouTube directly and even better that some have gotten their accounts back!

I was running about 17 Tubetoolbox accounts. Each one was sending a message with a video from a different account. I came back after a few days and found most of my accounts closed for violations.

1. When did you last use Tube Toolbox? It had been running for about 2 to 4 days when the problem happened.

2. What bulk actions were you using last? (Share Video, Add Contact, etc)? and what bulk actions do you generally use? I was sending a message with a video

3. How many Videos and Views did the Channel have approximately? Most of the channels had no videos that were posted and about 6 that were favorited from other channels. The two Youtube channels I have that have 2,000 to 2,500 subscribers, and two posted videos on one channel and about 40 posted videos on the other channle were not closed by Google/Youtube. It appears that it may be more likely that if an account had no videos posted that it would be closed. It does not even seem to be related to whether or not I was using Tubetolbox at the time because some accounts that I was not using and hadn't used in quite awhile were also closed. They each have their own email (usually gmail) but may have been somewhat linked by sharing the same recovery email addresses when originally setting up the Google Account.

4. Do you use multi-account sending when Sharing Videos or Messages? (aka "account chaining") I use one account for each channel. I send from multiple channels from the same computer. I have been doing this for well over a year without this problem.

For those just discovering the problem Tubetoolbox has a link to follow the latest info. It is http://www.tubetoolbox.com/suspended.aspx

5. We plan on contacting YouTube ourselves and asking that our customers' accounts get reinstated. Would you like your Channel to be included in that request? If so, what is your Channel name? Keep in mind that YouTube will know that you are using Tube Toolbox which is why we are asking your permission here to include your Channel. YES, YES, YES

I got my reply:

Hi there,

Thank you for your email.

This account was found in Violation of TOU #4 Section H.
http://www.youtube.com/t/terms

"You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without
limitation, "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," that accesses the
Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the YouTube
servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in
the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, YouTube grants the operators of public
search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the site
for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating
publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or
archives of such materials. YouTube reserves the right to revoke these
exceptions either generally or in specific cases. You agree not to collect
or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account
names, from the Service, nor to use the communication systems provided by
the Service (e.g., comments, email) for any commercial solicitation
purposes. You agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of
the Service with respect to their Content."

Seisend, I got the same response.

However, the first appeal I sent was done in a state of confusion. I didn't know why my account had been banned, and in the e-mail I asked why and what I did wrong. So that was my response.

In the second appeal, I explained that I was using Tube Toolbox and there was a glitch in the software, due to no fault of my own. And I politely asked for my account to be reinstated. They haven't responded to that one yet.

So I'm still waiting, and remaining hopeful that I'll be let back in.

Quick question: for those who DO get their accounts reinstated, is it put back up exactly how it was? Does it have the same videos, numbers of views, subscribers, etc? Or is it completely blank and in need of being redone from scratch?

im very sure that when its suspended all it means that its deactivated, and no one can see, all the data is in tact, all vids, subs, friends, info, i believe its all the same, because i been suspended before because i had 3 suspensions, but i resolved them all (due to covering songs), but i found a hole in the law or something like that, as long as you dont benefit, make money...wait let me get you the paragraph:

I have followed the copyright law correctly, its non-profit and the songs are credited." or "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.

I have a good faith belief that the material was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, and that I am not intentionally abusing this dispute process.

We've had 1 customer get re-instated and they have thousands of subscribers and nearly 1 million views all all videos and everything is intact.

I asked them what they said in their appeal and this was their response:

"Weird thing is I didn't tell them anything. They didn't ask me to... when I appealed it there was no box to type in why I felt it was an error. I just clicked a button and mit said thanks for contacting us. We will contact you after reviewing your case. I never was given an opportunity to make a case.

Here is a copy of the email they sent me, Let me know if there's anything else you need from me, I know first hand now how crushed your other users feel to have their account suspended:

Hi there,

Thank you for your email.

After a review of your account, we have confirmed that your YouTube
account is not in violation of our Terms of Service. As such, we have
unsuspended your account. This means your account is once again active and
operational.

If you forgot your password, please visit this link to reset it:
http://www.youtube.com/account_recovery

Regards,

The YouTube Team
"

The link that we gave our DID have a box where you could make your appeal so I have asked if they used a different URL to appeal or if they just left the Comments box blank on the URL that we sent out.

Well that sounds great...so at least if I DO get re-instituted, I don't have to start over from scratch.

But DANG I hope I get that e-mail...

I've just a little annoyed when I complained about this on the forums here, I got a self-righteous rant off an Admin telling me it was all my fault, when I had in fact to violated any of the TOS.

Another problem I'm getting today is that I tried to sign up another 10 accounts to use with the toolbox but their now asking for phone verification, which is okay except for the fact that they only let you verify something like 5 accounts with each phone number. Is anyone else coming up against this issue?

1. When did you last use Tube Toolbox?
A few days ago (3 days)

2. What bulk actions were you using last? (Share Video, Add Contact, etc)? and what bulk actions do you generally use?
Share video only

3. How many Videos and Views did the Channel have approximately?
Only drone accounts were deleted except for one which had 97 subscribers and about 30 videos.

4. Do you use multi-account sending when Sharing Videos or Messages? (aka "account chaining")
Yes, account changing with 1 additional TubeToolbox account (9 addresses in all i think)

Just wanted to let people know that I got my account reinstated using the following method:

Login to google/gmail account
Go to youtube and click sign in
You should be redirected to a page that says this:

--
Unable to access a Google product
If you've been redirected to this page from a particular product, it means that your access to this product has been suspended. Read on for more information.
Your access to this Google product has been suspended because of a perceived violation of either the Google Terms of Service or product-specific Terms of Service. For specific product guidelines, please visit the homepage of each Google product you're interested in for a link to its Terms of Service.

Google reserves the right to:

Disable an account for investigation.
Suspend a Google Account user from accessing a particular product or the entire Google Accounts system, if the Terms of Service or product-specific policies are violated.
Terminate an account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
If you believe your access to this product was suspended in error, contact us.
--

Click on the contact us link and do as it says. It did not ask me any questions so I didn't have to say anything about using TTB.

I've only used this method on one account that has been around for years and has several videos uploaded. I hope that works for some of you too, especially on your main accounts. All of my videos, comment and views were totally intact when I got the account back and it took about 5 days to get a response. Good luck!

I have a youtube partner account and I've used tubetoolbox for about a couple weeks 24/7 sharing videos. I left my program on overnight and then woke up to find that alert message from admins to stop use. After some people getitng banned I'm now very worried of using this program anymore. I dont want to risk losing my partner account.

i got a responce, but in my opinion it has nothing to do with my email, the video that had a penalty was 2 years ago and was removed, i had no penalties, but yet they bring that video up saying what they say in the email below, however i still sent an anti counter against it as i have a perfect explanation for it:

Hello TTB People:

I had all of my YT acct's suspended plus my main account - This all happened on the 31st of May. I contacted YT with an appeal (through the "YouTube Reinstatement Link" provided by Tube Toolbox~ http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/request.py?hl=en-GB&contact_type=accountdisabled) for my main chnl and stated "I don't know why you have suspended my chnl" and after 3 days they sent me this reply:

Hi there,

Thank you for your email.

This account was found in Violation of TOU #4 Section H.

I have already appealed again using the newly offered "reason" provided by Tube Toolbox:

"Due to a software issue my video was shared with the same set of YouTube users over and over. I had no knowledge this was occurring and respectively request my account be reinstated. Thank You."

Now I await their reply to this 2nd method of appeal.

Okay so, I've done the appeal many times now, using many different variations. Including the template the TTB crew provided.
But, I get the same automated message from youtube everytime:

"Hi User,

Thanks for your email. Your "User" account has been found to have
violated our Community Guidelines. Your account has now been terminated.
Please be aware that you are prohibited from accessing, possessing or
creating any other YouTube accounts.

YouTube staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to
determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When a video or
account is brought to our attention we investigate and take action if
necessary.

We are unable to provide specific detail regarding your account suspension
or your video's removal. For more information on our what we consider
inappropriate content or conduct while using YouTube, please visit our

I've appealed a total of 3 more times, and have yet to hear back.

It is getting discouraging...I'm happy other users have been reinstated but it's tough to sit here on my hands waiting for YT to let me back on.

Oh well folks I have had my response and I'm afraid it wasn't good. The two accounts eyelightedcolours (14000 subs) and this one I was bothered about never mind my 11 other support accounts, have been found to have violated youtube TOS.

I have been left with one account. Remember they can close any account we now have because people that have violated You tube terms of service are not allowed to have youtube channels.
