After "Tubepocalypse" on 5/31 got all my drone accounts suspended, I made new ones. As I tried to set up some video shares to run overnight I found out right now ALL MY NEW ACCOUNTS WERE JUST NOW BANNED! What is going on here? I'm not doing anything different than before. Is this the send box bug again or something else?

All my new drone accounts are BANNED again. I didn't change the default time settings that Tube Toolbox set. I would suggest for people to not use Tube Toolbox on their main account until whatever is going on is fixed.

We contacted YouTube again yesterday (June 11th) and sent them more information. Hopefully, we receive something back today.
We are still trying to figure out what is happening with the latest batch of suspensions. We’ve received about 6 copies of people’s database file and there does not seem to be a pattern. However, all but 1 of the 10 suspensions that occurred yesterday were from people who were suspended previously. We are wondering if somehow people’s IP address is on a YouTube “watch list” (if something like that exists).
I will update the suspended page at the end of day based on what happens.

just a quick update that a week later and we have STILL not heard back from YouTube. We have a direct contact within the company and do not have a response but are confident that we will get one.

Woke up today to half of the new new drone accounts being banned. This time I'd been using a proxy and not checking them from my home IP. Again using all standard settings and video shares. I don't know what else to try to avoid having them banned at this point :(

Galen - I have two thoughts...
1) Are your new drone account tied to your main account with the same recovery email address or cell phone number? Or any other way that you can think of that Google would know that the same person is using these accounts? I suppose there is a chance that it has to do with some account link between your new accounts and your old accounts.
2) If YouTube sees an account with no content, no videos, no user interaction and is being used only to Share Messages and/or Send Messages all day, I can see why they would suspend them. Tube Toolbox is built to help people promote their work and although we do allow 'drone' accounts, they should have much of the same content, videos and style as your main channel. If it's a blank channel then yes, that is spam, it's not relevant or interesting to the person receiving the messages and frankly not what Tube Toolbox is meant for. Of course I have no idea what your Channels looked like that were banned so I could be talking out of my ass right now.
Can you respond letting us know what your drone accounts looked like? did they have videos, custom backgrounds, etc? Perhaps using this information we can figure out what criteria YouTube uses to ban accounts.

1) Nope, I didn't use a recovery address and I think only one of them was verified via phone. They may have been connected from having been made from the same IP in a nearby timeframe, but weirdly enough the other similar ones weren't banned and keep chugging along.
2) The drone accounts had avatars and the activity stream of liking some of the videos on my main channel, but no uploaded videos of their own. I originally had more links to the main channel but after the first round of bans got worried that linking back to the main channel could actually be a bad thing. Before the bans I would be more active with the drone accounts, actively replying to messages I got on them, etc. Unfortunately I think that's why the first group got banned again: accessing them all from the same IP. So with the latest batch I've just been leaving them alone..

You said you used a proxy, what did you use to do this? Thanks

I haven't used TubeToolbox since the banning started. Fortunately my main two accounts where all of my videos are posted did not get banned. Could TubeToolbox let us know if it is safe to use TubeToolbox again. For what it is worth the channels that got banned all had no videos posted. All videos on the channel were Favorite videos from my channels and others. I think the common thread might be that they were set up using a Google email account and then signing up while logged in to Google. The big question is am I at risk of losing my main channels if I send from them???? If I restart sending I will only be using drone accounts until I am assured that the problem has been solved.

The proxy is a feature of TTB to use a different IP address than your home one. I'm still using the drones for sharing videos, but I'm no longer logging into them from home and replying to messages through them. Ironically using them as less "real" accounts seems to be safer, since logging in to reply to messages would link them all to my original IP.
