I've got +4500 subs and at the moment TT will only sync @1500...very slowly, also it will only sync 197 videos when I've uploaded 200

YT must have changed something I guess, can you TT guys have a look at what YT have done and see what you can do?

Really need this feature to be working!!

Thanks in advance

YouTube has something going on with their servers. When I try to synchronize your subscribers, I get an internal server error from YouTube. I then went in directly to www.youtube.com and tried to display subscribers and received an error.

You can test this out by logging in and entering this link in your URL - http://www.youtube.com/user/XXXXXXXX/subscribers?page=22 (replace the XXXXXXX with your channel name).

It seems like YouTube has changed how they display subscribers. Instead of displaying page by page, they display all subscribers up to the page you request. Therefore, their servers are having an issue displaying subscribers after a certain number of pages.
We have posted the issue on Google’s help forum - http://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/forum/#!category-topic/youtube/feedback--suggestions/9o8SjQ0QLR4

I think we just need to wait to see if YouTube fixes the issues with their servers.

Thanks for the reply Chuck.

You posted the issue on Google Product Forum on March 20th but you've had no response at all. That's worrying.

I think you should have let your customers know about this potential issue, if you knew about it on March 20th. I wouldn't have sync'd my subscribers and just stuck with the 4500 I already had in my list. That was very poor communication guys.

It really seems like Google/YT are closing down all your angles. All we can do is send out "Contacts" to video commenters - half of them just send messages saying 'Hey! How do you add contacts?" My subs rate has dropped obviously but I'm working hard to build...but NOW I can't even contact 2/3 of the people who have subscribed!

I'm not usually one of those people on this forum who bitch about the increasing lack of functionality so I hate to say this but I'm not sure what I'm paying for.

I know what YT/Google does is not in your hands but it really is starting to look bleak.

You should have told your paying customers to hold off syncing. "...just need to wait to see if YouTube fixes the issues with their servers..." is not what I wanted to hear

I hope I have a solution to my particular problem but you need to tell me if it's possible.

Luckily I back up my TT data regularly so I do have a version of the data before I sync'd my subscribers. Is there a way of extracting the previous list of subscribers and importing it back into TT without rolling back completely to the back-up because I have done a few days worth of contact adding and video sharing since I made the back-up that I don't want to lose.

Let me know...ASAP please

For the benefit of anyone reading this thread. Chuck sent me a reply by email stating that there is a automatically generated list called 'My Previous Subscribers' which is added to by TT every time you sync.

I was able to share my video to that list and will have to continue doing that until YouTube fix their servers.

I just joined today with my trial subscription. I used to have Tubeblaster Pro.

When I try to sync my subscribers, nothing happends. When I try to go to subscribers, the YouTube URL looks like this:

http://www.youtube.com/user/#USERNAME%23?&view=subscribers

instead of this:

http://www.youtube.com/user/PrometheusXex/subscribers?page=2

This is frustrating. :(

@Prometheus Xex

- The next version of Tube Toolbox will have a fix the URL issue you were running in to

- As far as synchronizing Subscribers, what happens when you try? Does it come back with 0 subscribers or does it just keep spinning and no doing anything? If you can email us the username that you log into Tube Toolbox with and more details on the problem, we will be able to fix it for you.

Thanks

The software updated itself today and the synchronizing of subscribers is happening... sort of. I have 2800+ subscribers and I've synced them several times in the row. It dosen't go to the full count, but stops short of it. The second time it stopped at 1878, third time at 1798 and craps out after 5 to 6 minutes of nothing happening.

Sounds like you are describing a problem that we encountered with YouTube's website.

If you view your Subscribers - http://www.youtube.com/user/<channel>/subscribers and click on Page 10 for example, you will see that it doesn't just show you the 10th page, it includes all subscribers from page 1 through 10. So by the time you get to 2,000, YouTube's server can't even handle showing you all of your subscribers and it times out and fails.

Basically, on YouTube.com, it is not possible to go page by page and see all of your subscribers so there is no way for us to do it.
